Coming Home to Photography

There are seasons in life where creativity shifts…

For a long time, photography was the way I expressed myself creatively. It was how I told stories, captured emotion, and made sense of the world through light and connection. Over time, that work naturally evolved. Photography led me into digital marketing strategy—helping brands find their voice, clarify their message, and show up more intentionally online. I loved that chapter. I still do.

But lately, after a lot of reflection and soul-searching, I keep coming back to the same quiet truth: I miss photography.

There’s something about my camera in one hand, a vision in my head, and light… beautiful light… photography is the work that fuels my creativity. 

When my kids were little, photography required something I didn’t always have to give: time away. Shoots meant evenings, weekends, travel, and long stretches outside the home. In that season, my energy needed to be closer, slower, more rooted. So I let photography soften into the background while other creative paths stepped forward.

And that choice was right, then.

Now, my kids are older. More independent. More confident. And I find myself standing at the edge of a new season, feeling a familiar pull, this gentle but persistent nudge back toward the work that fuels my soul.

Photography has been waiting.

As this year comes to a close and a new one begins, I’m stepping back into photography not as something “on the side,” but as a core offering once again. Not from a place of hustle or obligation—but from alignment. From inspiration. From a desire to create work that feels artful, intentional, and deeply connected.

Event Photography

For brands, businesses, and communities gathering with intention. Thoughtfully documenting energy, connection, and meaningful details through candid, story-driven imagery that captures the full experience as it naturally unfolds.

Family Sessions
For real life as it unfolds. Connection over perfection. Laughter, movement, softness, and the in-between moments that tell the truest story of who you are together.

What excites me most about returning to photography isn’t just picking up my camera again, it’s the way everything I’ve learned along the way now flows into the work. Years of storytelling, brand strategy, and visual intention have sharpened how I see, how I listen, and how I create. This isn’t a rewind. It’s a return—with depth.
